Our annual J N Smith and James Braid Open will be played on Saturday 11 June 2022. Online booking is now live and the cost of entry is £25.
There are two Cups to be played for and place prizes for scratch and handicap sections. The J N Smith Cup is for the best net score and the James Braid Cup for the best scratch score. There is a handicap limit of 20 for entry to the Competition.

Following the draw your starting tee time can also be confirmed by the Course Starter from the Saturday before. Telephone 01333 330301. The Cups are named after two of our most illustrious former members. James Braid the renowned golf course designer and five times Open Champion and John Nelson Smith who played in the Walker Cup team in 1930 and played in the final of the British Amateur the year before.
